Unlocked Potential is a leading agency in Central and Northern NJ with regard to providing a full spectrum of in home and community-based services to children between the ages of 5 and 21. UP provides a variety of services for general mental health as well as specializes in addressing Intellectual/Developmental Disability needs.
At Unlocked Potential, there are two primary branches of services which include "In Home" services as well as "In Community" services. Although they may seem similar by name, the"In Home" services are contracted through the Children's System of Care and can only be accessed through involvement with the youth's county Care Management Organization. Services may include clinical services by a social worker or psychologist or Applied Behavior Analysis as determined by the Child/Family Team. "In Community" services, on the other hand, will be available at the agency's community center in the Spring of 2017. Offerrings will include a variety of services such as respite, groups for the youth and family, unstructured and structured recreation, and more.
